Mary Zenker returned to her hometown of Cleveland in October of
2010 after having spent time in Indiana, Paris, and Washington
D.C. She currently resides in the Warehouse District with her
husband Matt. Mary is a Research Analyst in the Research
Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where she
studies labor markets and regional issues. Prior to joining
the Bank, she worked on national, state and local employment
statistics for the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C.
She earned her bachelor's degree in economics from the University
of Notre Dame in 2006 and her master's degree in applied economics
from the Johns Hopkins University in 2010.
As a downtown resident and city advocate, Mary is motivated to
strengthen downtown Cleveland and make it an even more attractive
place to visit, work, and live. In her free time, she enjoys
exploring Cleveland, tutoring, and entertaining family and friends
downtown. On the weekends, you can probably find her eating the
Lobster Mac n' Cheese at D'Vine Wine Bar or pizza at The Map
Room.
