Mary Zenker returned to her hometown of Cleveland in October of 2010 after having spent time in Indiana, Paris, and Washington D.C.  She currently resides in the Warehouse District with her husband Matt.  Mary is a Research Analyst in the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where she studies labor markets and regional issues.  Prior to joining the Bank, she worked on national, state and local employment statistics for the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C. She earned her bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame in 2006 and her master's degree in applied economics from the Johns Hopkins University in 2010.

As a downtown resident and city advocate, Mary is motivated to strengthen downtown Cleveland and make it an even more attractive place to visit, work, and live. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Cleveland, tutoring, and entertaining family and friends downtown. On the weekends, you can probably find her eating the Lobster Mac n' Cheese at D'Vine Wine Bar or pizza at The Map Room.
