4th Street Bar & Grill is the stylish new restaurant located
at The Corner Alley, Cleveland's newest entertainment venue.
Offering lunch, dinner and late-night dining, 4th Street Bar &
Grill is a 100-seat contemporary Americana restaurant.

The Corner Alley is located on the site of Cleveland's first
opera house, the Euclid Avenue Opera House, which opened in 1875.
Converted from gas to electricity in the 1880s, the Opera House
suffered a serious fire in 1892, but was rebuilt and continued
operating until 1920 when it was torn down in favor of a Kresge's
five-and-dime store. Designed by architects Walker &
Weeks, the S. S. Kresge building was named after Sebastian Spering
Kresge who built a business empire of five and dime stores and real
estate investments. The Kresge Corporation eventually transformed
itself into the K-Mart Corporation. In the 1920s, Kresge advertised
on postcards that "S.S.Kresge's 5 and 10 cent store, 216-218 Euclid
Avenue-Cleveland, Ohio, Largest Store of Its Kind in the
World."
