The newly renovated Wyndham Cleveland at PlayhouseSquare has much more to offer than a new look, new menu offerings and great service in its downtown theater district location.

The Wyndham kitchen, led by Executive Chef Shawn Brozic, and Sous Chef Jim Barnhart, are setting new boundaries in downtown Cleveland dining.

Originally from Northeast Ohio, Chef Brozic is a graduate of The Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, in Pittsburgh PA. His passion for the culinary arts has brought him to lead in hotels such as The William Penn Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Miami South Beach, The Ritz-Carlton Central Park, and The Ritz-Carlton Cleveland.

Chef Barnhart is a graduate from Lorain County Culinary Academy. He was a recipeint of the Golden Toque Award in 2003, and has held positions in local restaurants and hotels, before joining the Wyndham PlayhouseSquare as Sous Chef in 2008.

Consistency, quality, creativity, local freshness, and menu diversity are the key traits found in the dining experience at Encore Restaurant and Blue Bar. All of this is also found in our Pre-Theatre Show menu selections. Dine and valet park at the Wyndham, then walk across the street to attend the finest Broadway shows at one of the 8 PlayhouseSquare theaters.
