"If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a family, friends, neighborhood businesses, mentors, the community, city officials, and great media coverage to build a restaurant. This has been our experience at Tastebuds, an independently owned, family operated lunch restaurant bordering Chinatown, downtown, and in close proximity to Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University. Tastebuds opened in May of 2001 and serves fresh flavorful food that's healthy and reasonably priced.

Lunches are prepared from hand selected fruits and vegetables purchased directly from the North Eastern Ohio Food Terminal ensuring the highest quality. We understand that time and money are tight during the lunch hour for most of our clientele so we run a modern cafeteria style of service. Step up to the counter and choose from a wide variety of gourmet salads and sandwiches or choose from the daily offerings of homemade soups, hot entree specials, and pizza served by the slice. Treat yourself to fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt, or soft baked jumbo cookies for dessert.
