Empowering Generations: Downtown Cleveland’s Black History Month Celebrations

This February, Downtown Cleveland is buzzing with celebrations, paying homage to the rich tapestry of Black history and culture.

Bedrock and #VoicesofCLE partner to celebrate black arts and culture throughout the month in Tower City with live mural painting, stage shows, crafts, and dance battles! The #VoicesofCLE Public Art Project provides a platform for expression and action while amplifying voices through the heart of Cleveland. Created through a collaboration between Ingenuity Cleveland, Downtown Cleveland, Inc., and partners, the #VoicesofCLE initiative has adorned facades and public spaces throughout the city center and beyond. Every Saturday this month, watch firsthand as artists paint murals in real-time across Tower City.

Join the festivities, embrace the stories, and celebrate the invaluable contributions of the Black community that continue to shape our vibrant city.
