In addition to Ascend’s monthly memberships, they also offer day and week passes to those not quite ready to commit.
Ascend’s recently opened Spa, offers facials, massages, and body treatments as well as Salon services including Hair, Nails, and Makeup. Before your appointment, the staff encourages you to relax in their lounge which has complimentary snacks and drinks. The zero-gravity chair and infrared sauna are some of the services you may be less familiar with that the staff is happy to explain to you.
For those intimated by working out at a gym, Ascend is a great place to start. Ascend’s community is very welcoming and personable. New members also get a free consultation with a personal trainer. This can be for a variety of things such as establishing your goals and getting familiar with the staff, or you can even use this time to have the trainers explain the equipment you may be unfamiliar with. The state-of-the-art locker rooms include three locker bays each with access to the eucalyptus steam rooms. Another useful feature includes Ascend’s laundry service, so you never have to worry about lugging around your sweaty gym clothes. They also have a retail shop featuring products used in the facials and their own Haymarket candle scents. The shop sells clothing and accessories and is also a perfect place to grab a refreshment.
