Dr. Antoine Moss

Deemed from a young age “Most Likely to Succeed”, Dr. Antoine D. Moss has proven his classmates right. As an author, motivational speaker, success coach, philanthrope, consultant, and more, Antoine Moss lives up to his name, The Man of Inspiration.

After attending K-12 in East Cleveland, Dr. Moss went on to attend American University and later Baldwin Wallace University to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and his minor in Psychology. His education didn’t stop there, as he earned his master’s in Public Administration from Cleveland State University. At only 28 Dr. Moss made history as the youngest African American male at CSU to earn a Ph.D. from The Urban Studies and Public Affairs doctorate program. His perseverance for academic excellence was awarded in scholastic tuition grants and he was able to get his Master’s and Doctorate degrees at no cost to himself.

In November of 2009, Dr. Moss wrote his first book, Learn to Intern CEO Style: 71 Leadership Principles That Got Me and Now YOU Money, a Free Graduate Degree, and Respect! Inspiration for this book stemmed from his internships with NASA, the FBI, and the U.S. Congress on Capitol Hill. He more recently partnered with Les Brown and George Fraser to write an Amazon Bestseller, Mission Unstoppable. The book discusses themes such as finding your path, taking chances, and raising your voice. In the chapter written by Dr. Moss, entitled "Be The CEO of Your Dreams", he teaches you how to take control of your dreams from the lessons he learned from his mother.

Dr. Moss travels extensively to national conferences, events, and colleges to speak about his experiences in life and what he has learned from them. As a motivational speaker and success coach, Dr. Moss helps individuals rise to the next level in their lives and careers. He is known to help people to overcome past failures and obstacles that face them. He is nationally recognized in the fields of personal development, career development, and leadership. Dr. Moss has touched and advanced over 30,000 lives.

This Cleveland native is no stranger to giving back to his community as he is the Executive Director & Founder of C.H.A.N.G.E. Volunteers, Inc. Founded in 2006, this nonprofit organization’s mission is to empower its members and enhance the image of Greater Cleveland through positive community service initiatives. He facilitates programming focused on youth-targeted development sessions and leadership skill building. This program has impacted over 5,000 volunteers and community members. The volunteer sites include recreation centers, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and community businesses. The program was originally founded with the intended audience being young African American males however it has expanded to include females and other races facilitating invaluable experiences for all the community.

Dr. Moss has worked at NASA for the last 16 years. He was hired as a full-time employee after incredible success as an intern. He created an ambassador program for young STEM professionals at NASA Glenn Research Center. He also served as a Team Lead for the Logistics and Technical Information Division with the responsibility of leading a functionally diverse team to meet some of NASA's key institutional goals and objectives. More recently, NASA’s Associate Administrator asked him to lead the diversity and action implementation plan. Dr. Moss is currently still employed by NASA as the Community Relations Manager in The Office of Communications and External Relations.

During COVID Dr. Moss got his Relator’s license, and what may seem like an unexpected career move had a greater purpose. He used his spare time to advise first-time home buyers in underserved communities. “I just saw it as an opportunity for me to be able to help individuals acquire wealth and welcome happiness through homeownership,” Moss said.

Dr. Moss has won many awards as people recognize his perseverance and motivation in everything he does. These awards, honors, and recognitions include but are not limited to, Cleveland Crain’s 40 under 40, Top 25 Under 35 Movers & Shakers in Cleveland, Who’s Who in Black Cleveland, and features by Black Enterprise Magazine, Forbes, and Fox 8.
