Five Fun Fall Activities

Summer is drawing to a close, but there is plenty to do in Downtown Cleveland year-round. Here are some activities for when the weather gets nippy, the flannels come out, and the leaves transform into their brilliant autumn shades.

Drink a seasonal brew!

Whether it’s a local coffee shop or brewery, don’t miss out on the autumn ales and pumpkin spice lattes. For an after-work drink or night out visit Masthead Brewing Company and try the Haunted Hayride Pumpkin Ale, or pop over to Southern Tier Brewery Company to taste the Caramel Pumking brew. If you’re in the mood for a seasonal pick me up, try a maple cinnamon or pumpkin vanilla latte at The Cooper Moon or Rising Star Coffee Roaster.

Movie Night!

Join DCA for our Movie Nights at North Coast Harbor. These free double feature events are on September 24th and Oct 22nd. Bring a lawn chair or some blankets for the movies that begins at 6:30. Starting with an animated movie and rolling into a classic there is something for everyone at this event.

Take a Hike

Get some fresh air, Take a Hike offers free tours of unique and historic neighborhoods in Cleveland! Support the Browns!

Fall brings in football season, so come to FirstEnergy Stadium and show your pride. Sports bring people together and there is nothing like a fall tailgate before heading in to cheer for your favorite team.

Get Fresh Fruits and Veggies

Take advantage of the harvest season and pick up your farm fresh fruits and vegetables from "City Fresh" in Public Square. City Fresh is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting local farmers while providing affordable fresh veggies. Order in advance from their website for easy farm to table food.

Just because it’s getting cooler doesn’t mean there is less to look forward to. In the bustling city of Cleveland there is always something to make the upcoming season an exciting one. So grab your favorite sweater and bundle up, because fall is here!
